Atlanta United coach Gonzalo Pineda has praised Saba Lobjanidze and his impact on the pitch since joining in the summer transfer window.
Speaking to the Five Stripes official website, the MLS coach has been impressed by the Georgia international since signing from Turkish side Hatayspor last month.
The 28-year-old has scored an impressive two goals in his first three matches for Atlanta as Lobjanidze continues to impress for in Georgia, with the forward scoring in yesteday’s 2-2 draw against FC Dallas.

With Xande Silva also hitting the ground running for Atlanta, things are looking up for Pineda’s side since MLS’s return, and the Five Stripes coach has been impressed with what he has seen in Lobjanidze.
The Atlanta boss said when asked about Lobjanidze’s impact in the squad since making his debut: “Two goals in a week is very good, so I’m happy with the production that Saba is having.
“He’s always willing to attack. The aggression that I need in that part of the field is very clean, technically.”
Lobjanidze is on course to become a star for Atlanta

Few Atlanta fans knew what to expect when Lobjanidze was signed as a Designated Player last month, yet early impressions have been nothing short of impressive.
The Georgian forward has taken to life in MLS flawlessly, and Lobjanidze is on the right path of becoming a star for Atlanta alongside fellow summer arrival Silva.
With play-offs in Atlanta’s hands, the Five Stripes have done well to find a player as good as Lobjanidze in the market, with the forward ready to guide the Georgia-state side to glory.
