Atlanta United are reportedly confident that Saba Lobjanidze will make his official debut for the club this weekend.
According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, the Georgia international is expected to be part of the matchday squad that will travel to Seattle this weekend to face the Sounders ahead of MLS’ return.
Lobjanidze was a deadline-day signing for Atlanta as the 28-year-old joined the Five Stripes as a Designated Player, with the winger arriving after an impressive few years in Turkey.

With MLS being on hiatus due to the Leagues Cup, though, Atlanta fans have had to wait a while to see the likes of Lobjanidze and Xande Silva in the red and black jersey.
Lauded by Atlanta’s official website as a ‘quality’ player, Lobjanidze could be one of the missing ingredients Gonzalo Pineda’s side have missed in their bid to secure a play-off spot.
And the wait will finally be over this weekend when Lobjanidze travels to Cascadia with Atlanta, where a debut against the Sounders awaits.
Lobjanidze can become a key player for Atlanta

Attacking quality out wide has been a major issue for Atlanta for most of the season, yet the signings of Lobjanidze and Silva could be a big boost to the Georgia giants.
The Five Stripes have the quality to secure a play-off berth, and Lobjanidze could be a key player in the coming weeks if Atlanta are to qualify for the post-season.
With Lobjanidze on his way, the winger can get off to a dream start if he is included in the squad to face the Sounders, with the Georgian international eager to make a good first impression.
